The London Rork Game Hackathon is a one-day, in-person hackathon at Somerset House, London, on Saturday 13 June — for builders who want to turn a simple game idea into a playable AI-powered product.
The day is built around shipping: meet other builders, form or join a team, learn the tools, build fast, get mentor feedback, submit, demo, and leave with something real.
This is for people who want to build games, not pitch decks. Bring a game mechanic, character idea, story world, mini-game, mobile game concept, AI agent, multiplayer idea, creator tool, or rough prototype. By the end of the day, you'll have a working demo, a clear product direction, and a launch-ready story.
$5,000+ in prizes — including $1,825 in cash, a return trip to Shenzhen 🇨🇳 for Maker Faire in November, AI cameras, and months of Rork Max and Fotor Pro.

Requirements
What to build A playable AI-powered game or game tool, built during the hackathon. Mini-games, mobile games, story worlds, AI agents/NPCs, multiplayer ideas, creator tools, and hardware-powered builds (eligible for the HeySalad Hardware Challenge) are all welcome. You may arrive with an idea, assets, or a rough prototype — but the core build must happen on the day.
What to submit on Devpost by 17:00
- Playable demo link — Rork share link, web build, TestFlight, or APK
- Demo video — max 2 minutes of gameplay footage (YouTube or Vimeo link)
- Description — what your game is, how AI powers it, and what you'd build next
- Tools used — list the partner tools you built with (Rork, Fotor, etc.) so we can verify category prizes
- Team members — everyone must be added to the Devpost submission
- Hardware Challenge entries — include a photo or short clip of the hardware component in action
Late submissions can still demo on stage but are not eligible for prizes.
